This educational screening of The Wizard of Oz is part of Into Film‘s LGBT History Month programme, which showcases incredible LGBTQ+ cinema for new generations to appreciate.

A timeless family musical and one of cinema’s much loved productions, The Wizard of Oz sees young Dorothy Gale longing to escape black-and-white drudgery on a Kansas farm, for a life “Somewhere Over The Rainbow.”

During a dramatic tornado her wish comes true, and she and her dog Toto are carried off into the sky. Suddenly, they find themselves in Oz, a world that is full of Technicolor bedazzlement.

In a bid to get Dorothy home to Kansas again, new friends Tin Man, Scarecrow and Cowardly Lion help her fight off the Wicked Witch and race to reach the Emerald City, where the wonderful, but never-before-seen Wizard of Oz lives.

This screening is only open to LBTH schools. To book, please contact Tracy Barbe:
