Everyone A Maker: DIY Diversity Flag - Session 2

In the workshop you will instigate your cultural heritage and cultural preferences and represent it in a beautiful badge that you can wear, take a photo with and take it home.
At the end you are invited to have a photo shoot with your creation. The photos can be downloaded later from the project website. By making the badge and wearing it proudly you will celebrate the cultural diversity of London's east end.
Gil Mualem-Doron (UK/Israel) has been is asocially and politically engaged artist working in various media including installations and photography. He has exhibited works at places such as the Tate Modern, Liverpool Museum, People’s History Museum (Manchester), EAST66 – Centre For Urbanism (Amsterdam). He has won several grants, prizes and commissions from the British Council, The Art Council England and the Henri Ford Foundation, Counterpoints Arts and Platforma.
