Takeover 2018: A day of Yoga and Meditation Classes
Saturday 28 July
Grace Kirk presents an opportunity for young people who are unemployed or on low income, disabled, or working as carers to attend yoga and meditation classes that are safe spaces to practise and experience both activities.
Each class will be led by Roselle Hirst, and will be an hour long.
10am and 11:30am sessions: Beginners yoga - open to all.
1.30pm: Guided meditiation - open to all.
Participants with disabilities and their carers are particularly encouraged to attend the guided meditation, and will be given first priority on places in the session.
Roselle Hirst is a 200hr Registered Yoga Teacher in Ashtanga Vinyasa. Beginning her practice 5 years ago, she qualified in 2016 and maintains a daily morning practice. She has a deep belief in making yoga accessible to all. Roselle’s classes are open-level and beginner friendly, using a light-hearted and fun approach.
