What's it all about?

After being separated from his family at just five years old, a young man (Dev Patel) leaves his adoptive Australian parents (Nicole Kidman and David Wenham) to go in search of his lost relatives.

Tell me more (don't worry, no spoilers)

A young boy called Saroo loses sight of his brother as they work in a train station in India, and awakes to find he has been transported to a distant city where people speak a language he does not understand. As he struggles to survive in a strange new environment, the young boy is rescued by an Australian tourist (Nicole Kidman) and her husband (David Wenham), who teach him English and take him home with them. Some 25 years later, Saroo (Dev Patel) bravely sets out to track down his family using Google Earth.
