The unmistakable voice with the uncategorisable sound, Norwegian singer Susanna Wallumrød returns to London for this intimate one-off show – her only UK gig this year.
Susanna’s compelling new album Go Dig My Grave travels far and wide in search of inspiration – from Charles Baudelaire to Joy Division, English folk to American blues, a 17th-century lament by Purcell to Lou Reed’s Perfect Day. With echoes of traditional music, baroque classics and dark ambient sounds (it’s produced by Deathprod), it’s another brilliant release from this singular singer. For her first London show since 2016, she’s joined by harpist Giovanna Pessi, violinist Sarah-Jane Summers and Frode Haltli on accordion. Don’t miss it.
“Wondrous, haunting bunch of covers from Norwegian singer” Uncut Magazine
"A genuinely entrancing experience, it's dominated by Susanna's hypnotic, wholly original vocal.” CLASH Magazine
“…Susanna proves once again to be an unique interpreter of songs." Line of Best Fit
