Yorkston/Thorne/Khan are an experimental group that includes James Yorkston, one of the most influential singer/songwriters on the Scottish folk scene, award-winning sarangi player and classical singer Suhail Yusuf Khan from New Delhi and Jon Thorne, best known as jazz double bass player with electro outfit Lamb.

LIAF is a festival presenting Carnatic, folk, jazz, world and other contemporary forms. 

Who's Involved 

Kefaya Trio will be supporting Yorkston/Thorne/Khan on the night.

Made up of London-based musicians & producers Giuliano Modarelli and Al MacSween, Kefaya are an eclectic group of immigrants, travellers and international artists seeking to find common ground between folk traditions of the world, with a cutting-edge sound rooted firmly in the 21st century.
