Working with people to build skills and confidence is the key to success. They do this through our trainee schemes, language classes and employment support. The support they provide for mental health and addiction issues helps people to rejoin the community. They also help people to return to their home communities and families, in the UK and abroad. Situated next to the City of London – home to some of the wealthiest corporations in the UK – east London continues to have high incidences of poverty and homelessness. Last year 7,484 people slept rough in London Last year 7,484 (according to CHAIN Street to Home Report 2017-18) people slept rough on London’s streets, a 13% increase from the previous year.
