In a nutshell
An evening of scratch performances of bold new writing plus a Q&A with the creative team
After a nationwide call out for new short plays, Tamasha, one of the UK’s leading touring theatre companies present new pieces inspired by the diversity of our globalised world.
The theme for the night is open. Tamasha set the challenge for writers to submit the plays a company like theirs – a diverse, cutting edge touring theatre company of 27 years – should be producing. After a vigrourous selection process, Tamasha will present the best 4-5 short plays at this, their famed scratch night. The floor will be well and truly the artists.
The four gripping short plays that will be present are:
Finding José by Amal Chatterjee
Graveyard Girlz by Lakesha Arie-Angela
Other Please Explain by Lynsey Martenstyn
The Affairs of Men by Sid Sagar
A Q&A with the collaborating artists will follow the performances.
Join the award-winning theatre company as they showcase work from the future voices of British theatre.
