Wired4Music return with their free open mic event for 16-25 year-olds to perform their material to our community with a live band!

A jam is an informal event where performers, artists and musicians can get together and create various improvised songs on the spot.

Rules:

  • Remember to share the stage with others, you might be able to perform multiple times but we want everyone that wants to perform to have their chance – no hogging the mic!
  • No PA/backing tracks. You will be asked to go up on stage and communicate with our live band about what speed (tempo) and style of song you’ll be performing, and they will support you!
  • Come in open minded, this event is about the power of improvisation and collaboration.

Can I get involved if I’m not a vocalist/performer? Yes, this event is a great networking opportunity so producers, event managers, artist teams are all welcome. The event is open to everyone that enjoys going to music events, or just want a chill night out.

If you’d like to play at the event, or need any further support please email Tee at tee@sound-connections.org.uk.
