Femi and The InRhythms debut album Pressure to Pleasure was described as ‘classic‘ by Songlines. The album ticks all the marks from fat bass lines to blazing horns to chiming guitar lines. The band are performing the album live in a two hour set of pure contemporary African music.
The 7-piece band from Lagos and London, mix the cerebal musicality of afrobeat with visceral grooves of funk underpinned with Yoruba-English vocals to create eclectic futuristic world dance music making them one of the key bands from the contemporary African music scene.
