You can make these female voices heard by attending things events like ‘Art in the time of #MeToo,’ a creative response to upsetting truths that confronted the film industry last year.

Or explore the significance of hair in black female identity with the brilliant Bechdel Test Fest at their ‘Can I Touch It?’ event.

We’re proud to be working with the Brazilian Embassy of London to bring you best contemporary Brazilian female directors, as the only host venue of Cinema of Brazil 2018.

Highlights include a Q&A showing Lúcia Veríssimo‘s Me, My Father and the Cariocasa joyous journey through over 70 years of incredible Brazilian music history.
