Join Music Makers for our ‘Then & Now’ album, a youth-led rap project for 16–21 year olds ready to create strong music inspired by protest, resistance and real stories from East London. Work with professional artists to develop your skills in beat making, lyric writing, recording and performance while creating an original rap album with other young creatives.
Explore the roots of rebel music, pirate radio and underground UK scenes, then use your voice to speak on what matters now. The project ends with a live album and documentary launch celebrating your work.
No industry experience needed, just passion, creativity and something to say.
Sessions take place weekly on Wednesdays, 5–7pm from Wed 22 Jul 2026.
What do I need to attend?
- Be aged 16-21 years old
- Be able to commit to every session (this is not a drop in course)
- Live in London (with a priority for East London young people)
