For over five years, Tower Hamlets primary schoolchildren have been creating original films at school, then seeing them on the big screen at Rich Mix! Pic ‘n’ Mix provides children and teachers the tools to tell their stories through film.
It’s a free programme of film education screenings, in-school workshops with writers and filmmakers and CPD for teachers. With an emphasis on literacy and storytelling, children learn to write, direct, perform and edit films that are developed around their existing school curriculum.
