Are you interested in music, film, culture or storytelling?

Behind the Screen is a creative programme for young people who want to explore filmmaking, documentary production and creative activism with support from professional mentors.

We’re looking for 10 young creatives to help make a documentary exploring protest music, pirate radio, underground scenes and community spaces in East London including Rich Mix leading up to the venue’s 20th anniversary, connecting the histories of creative resistance to the experiences of young artists today.

You’ll gain hands-on experience in:

  • Filmmaking and storytelling

  • Working collaboratively as part of a film project

No experience needed – just curiosity, creativity and a willingness to get involved. Sign up here or by using the button above.
