Over the past couple of months, our Trustees have busily been recruiting an Interim CEO following the news that current Rich Mix CEO, Eddie Berg, will be moving to New York in August with his partner as she takes on a major new role there as President and CEO of New Music USA.

We are delighted to announce that Judith Kilvington has been appointed into that role until March 2020. Judith has a wealth of experience and joins us from the Citizens Theatre in Glasgow, where she was Executive Director and Joint CEO. Prior to that Judith was the Executive Director of Graeae, the UK’s leading touring company of deaf and disabled artists, which is based in east London.  Judith will take up the position from 15 July 2019.

Judith will oversee the entire Rich Mix operation and will continue to build on the legacy of the work undertaken by Eddie to redevelop the building. We will be sharing some exciting plans and proposals over the coming months with residents, users and community partners.

In the light of Eddie’s departure and the proposed developments, Trustees are reviewing the long-term leadership model of Rich Mix and we will make a further announcement on this in the autumn. We will of course keep you updated and in the meantime, hope you will join us in welcoming Judith to Rich Mix.
