Come and see performances from the UK’s foremost Bengali singers, alongside Grand Union Orchestra’s house band. Led by tabla maestro Yousuf Ali Khan, the concerts will include traditional songs by Lalon and Nazrul, alongside emotional Ragas – a celebration of the music, language and culture of Bangladesh and its diaspora.

For this special concert we welcome back Bangladeshi singer Akash Sultan, who played a leading role in Grand Union’s touring shows until 2015. He will perform songs from our repertoire, alongside  traditional Bengali material.
