Tale of Tawaifs – Mehfil is a fresh take on Indian classical music for global music lovers, bringing to light the mystery and magic of the untold and unheard stories of the forgotten courtesans of the early 20th century.

Scripted and directed by Chandra Chakraborty, one of the finest Indian classical vocalists, the production portrays stories of tireless struggle against the patriarchy, and revives dying but powerful styles of classical music through impeccable acting, dancing and hypnotic singing.
