This hands-on workshop will take you through all the stages of a video production. Don’t miss this excellent opportunity to meet other up-and-coming filmmakers, gain an insight into the industry and establish pathways for careers.

At the workshop, you will:

  • Learn the different phases of video making (Pre-production, Production & Post Production)
  • Learn the basics of operating a camera, microphone and tripod
  • Understand shot composition and the terminology used
  • Learn about interview techniques
  • Try out editing and learn about editing software
  • Gain basic experience of filming a sequence or an interview
  • Develop presentation and communication skills

Led by Albert Mensah from Fortune Favours Productions, this workshop is delivered in partnership with Magic Me and Film London Equal Access Network.

No previous experience is necessary. Rich Mix is an accessible venue and this workshop is open to SEND young people, please contact alex.brown@richmix.org.uk to discuss additional support if needed.
