The performance is lead by Pakistani vocalist, ethnomusicologist and music curator Wajiha Ather Naqvi. While she trains in Hindustani classical music under the Qawwal Bachche-Delhi gharana, her own musical style represents a blend of blues, raga-pop and Sufi-folk. She has featured both as a lead female artist and backing vocalist in Coke Studio Pakistan (Season 11 and 13), and is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in South Asian music at King’s College London.

She will be joined by two incredible musicians for this performance – sublime Pakistani blues and contemporary fusion guitarist Imam Hamdani and Spanish magician percussionist Ayoze de Alejandro.
