Surto & Deslumbramento is a filmmaking collective founded in 2012 in the city of Recife. Provocative and insurgent, pushing boundaries and challenging social norms with raw, unfiltered storytelling – their films explore memories, coming of age, sexuality and taboos, offering a fresh yet unruly portrait of the gay community in Brazil.
