Golden Tongue is an open mic night focused on amplifying the voices of South Asian women. It gives them a space to share their stories, and gives everyone else a place to come listen, engage, and learn.
They believe in owning their narratives, in celebrating the diversity of their diaspora and identities. Most of all, they believe in being loud.
Headliners Orin Begum and Mayura U will be gracing the stage, along with Amani Saeed, Shagufta Iqbal, Shareefa Energy, Sophia Thakur, Afshan D’Souza Lodhi, and eight open mic slots up for grabs.
A henna artist will also be on-hand (geddit?) for all of your shaadi needs. Feel free to stick around at the end for a little boogie to our expertly curated music selection and party-sharty til late.
