Inspired by hundreds of voices, the project explores how invisibility affects us all. A groundbreaking dance film and photography exhibition complement a live dance performance, revealing a hidden truth – shared invisibility binds us more than we realise.

You are also Us is a unique dance film, filmed on drones in stunning locations across Dorset. The work explores the power, pain and protest in hiding certain parts of ourselves and enables audiences to see, feel and hear the struggle and toll it takes in keeping yourself hidden.

The film is followed by a live performance of You and Us – a stunning display of Cathy’s powerful movement vocabulary.  Interwoven sections of real stories of invisibility are brought to life through our fast-paced and grounded movement style, allowing audiences to step into a choreographic world built on real life experiences. Featuring original composition from MOBO Award-winning composer Lewis Wright.
