Before October 7th, there were at least 5,000 Palestinian prisoners including children as young as 12 years old held in Israeli jails. Since then that number has increased to over 9,500, including 200 children and 3,660 people held without charge on administrative detention. Palestinian Prisoners’ Day is commemorated every year on April 17th to acknowledge the freedom of prisoners and support for their rights. This event is dedicated to all Palestinian Prisoners.

This fundraiser continues White Kite’s ongoing support for Theatre for Everybody in Gaza. Theatre for Everybody have been using drama for over 30 years to address social and political concerns, working with both children and adults. Proceeds of this fundraiser will go directly towards their work supporting Gazan orphans.
