For the first time in years, the original lineup – Sohrab Mohebbi (vocals and guitar), Salmak Khaledi (trombone), Sardar Sarmast (piano), and Yahya Alkhansa (drums) – will reunite on stage to deliver a powerful performance.

Founded in 2001 by young Tehran artists, 127 is an independent band that has become a key player in Iran’s progressive cultural scene. Their music blends Persian lyrics with elements of Western music, addressing both local and universal themes of frustration, isolation, and hope.

The band has inspired a generation of Iranian youth, influencing many emerging musicians. With thousands of online listeners, the band has made a significant impact despite not playing together for over a decade. Their influential albums in Iran’s non-mainstream music scene include Khal Punk, Pop Emergency and In Your Own Way.
