The Tower Hamlets LGBT+ Community Forum are leading a Peace Walk in the borough to bring together communities and organisations representing those who experience hate crime and our allies. The theme for this year’s National Hate Crime Awareness Week is LGBT+phobia.

When: Mon 14 Oct
Time: 2.00 – 4.45pm
Where: Meeting at Shaheed Minar Memorial in Altab Ali Park and walking to Rich Mix, 35-47 Bethnal Green Rd, London E1 6LA

Order of events:

2.00pm – We will meet at 2.00pm and begin the Walk from Altab Ali Park at 2.15pm
3.00pm – Arrive at Rich Mix
3.00pm – Speeches from TH representatives
3.30pm – Break for refreshments
3.45pm – Workshop on theme of tackling Hate Crime
4.45pm – End
