In partnership with Into Film Festival, the largest youth-focused film festival in the world, we are bringing free film screenings to primary school students in Tower Hamlets and Hackney. Plus, scroll down for information on our Spring Term Film Review Competition!

Our screenings will take place on Tue 18, Wed 19 and Thu 20 Mar in Screen 1 at 10am, and Screen 2 at 10.30am. Explore our exciting selection of films and new Film Review Competition below!

Spring Term Film Review Competition

We are excited to announce that for our Spring Into Film Festival, we shall be running a Film Review Competition!

We love chatting with the children after they have seen a film during the festival, they always have such wonderful and insightful thoughts to share. Writing a review can be an exciting way to develop their critical thinking, analysis, and writing skills through deeply engaging with the film, so we’d love to hear more on what your children have to say. 

Prizes:

1st Place Prize: 4 free cinema tickets to use at Rich Mix

2x Runners Up: 2 free cinema tickets each!

We will also be selecting a range of reviews to post on our Letterboxd account to share the wonderful reviews with film fans across the world! 

How to take part:

Please see the guidelines on how your school can get involved below! 

  1. Use the downloadable planning sheet and film review template to help your students write and create their reviews. 
  2. Submit your reviews via the form below by Mon 14 Apr.
  • Each school may make one file upload of all their reviews they are submitting to the competition via the form below by Mon 14 Apr.  
  • Parents may submit for their child if they wish to take part in the competition and could not do so via their school, and should also submit via the form by Mon 14 Apr.  
  1. We will announce three winners via blog post and direct contact on Tue 22 Apr.
