This May bank holiday, KULA Collective are kicking things off in style with a night of electrifying live music, DJs, poetry, art, and dance. We’re bringing together artists from across disciplines to create an immersive celebration of Africa’s rhythmic heartbeat—its music, movement, and soul.

Expect an atmosphere filled with energy, unity, and creativity as we honour the cradle of rhythm, breaking borders and coming together in a safe space where inspiration can flow freely.

🎶 Live Music Lineup:
🔥 London Afrobeat Collective
One of the UK’s most explosive live bands, London Afrobeat Collective are set to ignite the stage with their high-energy blend of traditional afrobeat, hi-life, funk, jazz, Latin, and dub. This eight-strong international powerhouse is known for their heavy dance grooves, infectious energy, and socially conscious lyrics. A global festival favorite, LAC have rocked the likes of Glastonbury (UK), The Shrine (Nigeria), Tempo Latino (France), Fusion Festival (Germany), and much more.

🔥 Angata
Angata are an Afro-groove collective blending the rich traditional sounds of West Africa with soul, jazz, and afrobeats. With members from Burkina Faso, Ivory Coast, Zimbabwe, and the UK, Angata embodies the spirit of unity through music. Their name means “let’s go”—so get ready to move to their grooves, full of message-driven rhythms that celebrate love, nature, and freedom.

🎤 Beyond the Music:
Throughout the night there will be spoken word poetry, sharing stories of belonging and diversity, as well as an interactive art workshop, giving you the chance to get creative and express yourself.

Dancers will use the space throughout the live music to add to the spectacle to immerse you to new levels.

This is more than just a night out—it’s a cultural experience like no other.
