From Vietnam to Germany, Tokyo to London, migration is a journey of both preservation and loss, complicated by queerness. Across nebulous landscapes of gender identity and family ties, this programme explores the tensions of navigating multiple cultural terrains, and the cracks in between.
The screening is preceded by a prose reading by John Chan (@windmovesmountain).
Curatorial idea by Chia-Chieh Liu and Xinyi Wang, as part of Up Next: Future Film Curators Lab 2024/25.
