We’re handing the cinema keys over to the youth. Once a month, we’re flipping the script in our screens with BLACK IN SEASON FILM CLUB – a throwback film series curated by young Londoners, for young Londoners.

We’re talking cult-classic Black films from the 90s to early 2000s – the ones your older cousins grew up on and swear are ‘essential’. Movies that shaped culture, fashion, music and the way we tell our stories. This is not just a screening – it’s a whole vibe.

Each night comes correct with:

🎧 A live DJ spinning era-defining hip hop, R&B and neo-soul
📸 Red carpet energy – come dressed in your 90s/00s fits (optional but a gram worthy opportunity! Timbs and denim-on-denim are welcome)
🎤 A performance or post-film talk, led by emerging artists, thinkers and creatives from our city
🍿 And of course, the movie – projected on the big screen, just how it’s meant to be seen

The Line-up:

  • Friday (1995)
  • Boyz n the Hood (1991)
  • Set It Off (1996)
  • Brown Sugar (2002)

This is a chance to link up, rep your era, celebrate culture, and experience cinema your way.

You can reach one or reach them all, but it’ll be a sell out so be quick!

🎟️ £3 per screening or book a ticket to see all four of our Black in Season films for £10.

Spaces are limited, so don’t snooze.

Grown folks? Yeah, you can roll through… but just know, the next generation are leading on this!
