Glasgow, the morning of the first day of Eid. Hundreds of residents in the diverse Pollokshields area gather spontaneously to prevent the deportation of two neighbours, resulting in an eight-hour peaceful stand-off that ultimately secured the men’s release.  

Winner of the Grand Jury Prize at Sundance Film Festival, this powerful documentary offers an intense, ground-level view of the power collective action can have when battling hostile injustice. Delving into the the personal stories of those involved and the history that has shaped the surrounding community.
