The course introduced the students to the Built Environment of their city and the many and varied career opportunities there are to be found within it. With a starting point of an underused carpark in Bow, students were given a brief to design improvements for the benefit of the local community.
The ten-week programme involved investigating the City of London model, architectural tours of the city, design consultations, site analysis and planning, and designing and modelling. Their final presentation of proposals were judged by New London Architecture.
