Inspired by memories of parental love, this is a tender film that explores the bond between a Black Parisian father and his daughter at a moment of significant change.

More than an ode to father-daughter bonds, the film meditates on the loneliness of the immigrant experience through an Ozu-esque exploration of the stillness of everyday life.

This is the second screening of Worth A Picture, a four-film season celebrating Black remembrance and cultural preservation.
