In 2017 Chloe Tai left a career in the beauty industry to follow her passion for visual artistry, driven by a love of photography. A chance encounter led to assisting an indie production company producing national commercials and music videos, followed by a production and development traineeship with film group Umedia. This opened the doors to her current role leading marketing, festivals and publicity for an International Film Sales group, where she’s worked with the likes of Michaela Coel on Been So Long, auteur filmmaker Werner Herzog on Family Romance, LLC, and most recently rising talent Ekwa Msangi on her debut feature Farewell Amor.

Chloe is of Chinese descent, and culturally rich storytelling is at the core of her filmmaking. Alpha & Omega is her first short film project as a director.
