Three friends take refuge at a mountain lodge after their jeep breaks down. The serene retreat is but a threshold, the final chance to unburden before crossing into Bayoul, the place of death. As their sins and regrets surface, they must confront their illusions and make peace. From denial to murder, they resist the truth, clinging to the remnants of life already gone.
