Teenage swimmer Mila takes care of the family home and her kid sister while her mother pursues affairs and opportunities. When Mila is recruited to the open water swimming team led by the stabilising and alluring Vlad, she is finally able to shine.. However, in the aftermath of a teammate’s accident and her mother’s plans to move with a new paramour, Mila is faced with a new kind of fight: can rebelling also mean resisting adultification?
