Ramallah, Palestine, Décembre 2018is a single-take documentation of a violent confrontation in the occupied West Bank, where Israeli soldiers, illegally stationed in the city, assert control over public spaces. They patrol cafés, enter abandoned buildings, and disrupt daily life, while local Palestinians either watch from a distance or engage in resistance. Through carefully composed, successive reframings, the film captures the tense choreography between soldiers and civilians, revealing the mechanics and daily human cost of occupation.

here and not here

Structured as a film diary in fifteen dispatches, this work emerges from a place that both exists and resists definition – shaped by occupation yet alive with imagination, desire, and resistance. Filmed in the Occupied West Bank and Golan Heights during the A.M. Qattan Foundation’s Ways of Traveling Residency (2020–2023), it grows from sustained collaborations and dialogue. The film seeks a poetic language that confronts occupation while refusing reductive representations, honouring the fragile, vital textures of everyday life.

Intersecting Memory
Shayma’ Awawdeh | 2025 | France, Palestine | 20’ | digital | Arabic spoken, English subtitles

A box of video tapes left unopened for 20 years triggers recollections of growing up in Hebron during the Second Intifada. The filmmaker’s memory is blurry – she was only 6 years old at the time. Everyday activities take place against the violence of occupation. She tries to find herself in the footage, to reconstruct the painful memories that have been repressed, her childhood reminiscences intersecting with Palestinian collective memory. Centring the suffering of children, this devastating film is dedicated to the mothers of Palestine.

Followed by a Q&A with the filmmakers.
