UM ECHGAG

The film chronologically verifies UM ECHGAG conference along with the events that preceded and followed it. Using authentic documents and living testimonies by contemporaries, the film reveals the strong ties between the inhabitants of the Sahara – former Spanish colony – and the Sultans of Morocco. It also depicts different forms of resistance in which the population of the Sahara had participated to struggle against the French and Spanish colonizers.

RESTORATION

Non-epileptic seizures and other post-traumatic symptoms deprive her of her mobility and her freedom. The vacant house of Sabrina’s godmother, a source of her wounding, becomes the focal point in her need to confront that awful night. Sabrina decides to return to both – her trauma place and her own voice as a writer and speaker – to come to terms with her violent past.
