Racing legend Sonny Hayes (Brad Pitt), dubbed ‘the greatest that never was’, is coaxed out of retirement to lead a struggling Formula 1 team owned by former teammate Ruben Cervantes (Javier Bardem). With the past soon catching up to him Sonny must balance mentoring young hotshot driver Joshua Pearce (Damson Idris) while fighting for his one last chance at glory.
