Join multi-award winning theatre companies Good Chance and Gecko for this premiere screening of a breathtaking new physical theatre piece, all about displacement, movement and being forced to find a new home.
Featuring 60 young people from around the world and Gecko’s professional ensemble, From Here On tells the story of nearly a century of displacement and welcome. It marks 85 years since the Kindertransport saved 10,000 Jewish children from Nazi-occupied Europe, and calls for a safer future for all children forced to flee their home today.
The film screening features the full performance intercut between two locations, as well as a short film from recently-arrived young people in Dover and a Q&A with members of the creative team and cast.
