Don’t miss the monumental debut feature from Emmy-nominated BBC journalist Gbolahan Peter Macjob, presented, curtesy of British Urban Film Festival.

Betrayed by his uncle and sold into slavery, a young West African prince finds himself on a brutal Jamaican plantation. Through forbidden love and a looming rebellion he is drawn into an alliance with escaped slaves – the Maroons – forcing him to rise as a leader of a revolution that could shake the colonial world.

This screening will be followed by a Q&A with the director.

Unflinching.
