The smart but lonely Stefi stops going to school, stops coming home at night, and instead becomes a member of a youth gang at the instigation of her new and charming girlfriend Mariann.

Stefi’s mother Helena spends her days being afraid and her nights waiting or cycling around the city searching for Stefi. When Stefi ends up in the hospital after an overdose, a desperate, crazy plan forms in Helena’s mind…
