SUCCESSION
Dir. Yoshimitsu Kushida
Set in a fictional world covered with air pollution, this filmed performance explores questions of ‘What is it to live?’ and ‘How do you want to live?’ People who cover their faces with gas masks lose their emotional expression and communication with their surroundings in exchange for saving their own lives. Some people who can not stand such a life, take off their masks and enjoy their days coloured with human emotions, but end their lives fleetingly.
