London Short Film Festival Not Her First Rodeo Tue 27 Jan 18

Saddle up for a rebellious ride through freedom, feminism and the wild spirit of the West. This special LSFF event gathers a bold collection of films that lasso the myth of the cowboy and reclaim it with grit, grace and a distinctly female fire. 

Each story rides the line between myth and modernity, tracing how women carve out space in terrains they felt were never built for them. Whether it’s an intimate queer drama, an animated short, or an empowering documentary; this event celebrates those who refuse to be tamed. With an exclusive trailer for a new short film Gaucha, a journey of defying the patriarchy presented through the iconic Argentinian cowboy, the Gaucho: coming in 2026.

Not Her First Rodeo: because she’s been here before, and this time, she’s calling the shots.

The screening will be preceded by a musical performance by folk musician Sophie Crawford.
