In a coastal Somali town, a recently reunited family must navigate their personal aspirations, the omnipresent threat of drone attacks, and their enduring visions for the future. Shot entirely in Somalia with a cast of amateur Somali actors, the film aims to showcase life in Somalia beyond one-dimensional headlines.

This is the first screening of Worth A Picture, a four-film season celebrating Black remembrance and cultural preservation.

Orients itself around a quiet optimism.
