The Rich Mix team and Board will bid him a fond farewell ahead of his planned move to New York in the summer where his wife Vanessa Reed – who is currently CEO of the PRS Foundation – will be taking up the position of President and CEO of New Music USA.

Since becoming CEO Eddie has overseen the creation of an ambitious business plan to 2022, secured four more years funding from Arts Council England and has led on an exciting set of proposals to redevelop the building – Reimagining Rich Mix – which will see the complete renewal of the current site and its activities, with the organisation providing more benefits for more people in more ways.

“Rich Mix is an essential and unique part of London’s cultural infrastructure and plays a vital role in supporting and showcasing the most diverse range of creative talents imaginable. It’s been a privilege to work here and I’ve learned so much. I’m proud of what we’ve achieved together over the past three years and it’s clear that we’ve moved the organisation forward in many ways, not least through the exciting proposals we now have for Reimagining Rich Mix, which will enable the organisation to fully deliver on its mission and potential. I’m sad and disappointed to be leaving at such an important time for Rich Mix, but this is one of those once-in-a-lifetime opportunities and we have to go for it.  I’m going to miss everything and everyone but I’ll continue to be a passionate advocate for Rich Mix from across the pond.”
