Fringe! Queer Film and Arts Fest returns for 2023 with a joyful and experimental selection of film premieres, trans networking opportunities, and more shorts than ever before. Plus, don’t miss hotly tipped Italian trip-hoppers BowLand’s debut UK show.
Moving into October, immerse yourself in French duo Ko Shin Moon’s unusual blend of psychedelia, space disco and Middle Eastern instruments, and we celebrate 20 years of championing Deaf creatives with a landmark edition of Deaf Rave Festival.
In November, Rebellious Bodies presents a once-in-a-lifetime festival of performances and workshops celebrating Butoh dance and we welcome a series of EFG London Jazz Festival highlights including Jazz Orient with Baluji Shrivastav OBE, UK Jazz Plus Sessions curated by Martha D Lewis and Iranian genre-hoppers Damahi. Legendary instrumental band Red Snapper drop by and we then round off the month with an unmissable selection of theatre and talks as part of Season of Bangla Drama.
Moving towards the end of the year, the spectacular annual festival Electronica: Vision of Sound V returns, bringing you the best in cutting-edge electronic music and visuals, Lèse Majesté invite us for a night of soul-filling queer majesty and we round things out with the beautiful soundscapes of Berlin-based musical duo hackedpicciotto.
