Blowin In The Wind is a powerful and dynamic dance theatre piece addressing the complexity of the current patriarchal society, it challenges our perspective on
‘power’.

Four characters who are forced to place their ‘power’ within patriarchy, use mind blowing Contemporary and hip hop dance to take you through multiple episodes of masculinity: Sensitivity, emotion, conflict, aggression and adolescence.

It is an emotional response to these following questions:

What is masculinity? Does masculinity exist? What is cultural masculinity? Does cultural masculinity exist?

The work is intriguingly slow, relying on minimalist movement to draw us in… It feels satisfyingly authored, with controlled, dignified choreography
