Founded in 2005 by Emmanuel Anyiam-Osigwe, BUFF is the UK’s leading platform for diverse and underrepresented voices in film. Showcasing independent urban cinema through features, shorts, and documentaries, the festival has championed fresh talent for two decades.

In 2025, it celebrates its 20th anniversary, marking 20 years of storytelling and cultural impact. Come and celebrate with us this October!
