This is the second in a series of events, showcasing the amazing work of those who have successfully completed Wen’s Climate Siblings & Sisters Leadership programme*.
Throughout the evening we will explore what it means to see and hear a diversity of voices in climate discussions. Find out how the climate crisis intersects with our daily lives, cultural heritage and diasporic histories and how the climate crisis is a global and political issue rooted in capitalism, colonialism and patriarchy.
We will hear from the Climate Sisters of Claudia Jones Organisation and from the Climate Siblings of Revoke organisation, with knowledge and voices shared from around the world, including Yemen, Trinidad, Guyana, Niger, Jamaica, Barbados, Syria, Grenadines, Saudi Arabia, St. Vincent, Pakistan and here in London!
