CROWN//تاج is a manifestation of female strength – an opportunity to reclaim what we lose through displacement. Using Persian miniatures, lived experience and the poetry of Forough Farrokhzad as inspiration, the three dance artists take the audience on a journey from determination, through struggle, to release – finding courage, resilience and joy along the way.

Maria Tarokh directs this female-led production on its inaugural tour – featuring exceptional dancers alongside virtuoso classical Persian musicians, to bring you a moving and energetic experience.

A really engaging piece made more interesting by the addition of live musicians.
